The invention provides a groundwater mining system which comprises a water taking device, a fixed station, an ultrasonic water level meter, a lifting structure, a shield body, a lifting rod, a controller and a power supply; the water taking device comprises an electromagnetic relay, a water taking pipeline and a water pump; the electromagnetic relay comprises a relay coil, a relay normally-closedcontact and an electromagnetic valve; the lifting structure on the fixed station controls the lifting rod to move in an observation well, and the lifting structure stops after moving to the preset distance; the ultrasonic water level meter monitors the distance from the lifting rod to the groundwater surface, transmits the distance to the controller in real time, and presets the allowable mining range in the controller; when the groundwater level exceeds the preset range, the controller controls the relay coil to be electrified, the relay normally-closed contact is disconnected, the electromagnetic valve is powered off and disconnected, the water taking pipeline is disconnected to stop water pumping from groundwater, and the water pump stops working.
