Problems solved by technology

Although some monitoring methods and indicators have been developed, there is still a lack of clinical studies to validate their clinical use
Furthermore, although noninvasive MMM is reasonable for monitoring many acute neurological disorders, its clinical utility and effectiveness in monitoring postoperative revascularization therapy in patients with acute ischemic stroke remains poorly studied

Embodiment 1

[0047] 1. Patient Selection

[0048] This study recruited 25 patients from the Neuro-Intensive Care Unit of Beijing Tiantan Hospital affiliated to Capital Medical University. These patients suffered from acute ischemic stroke caused by internal carotid artery (ICA) or middle cerebral artery (MCA) occlusion and received endovascular treatment (EVT, Endovascular treatment). Patients who were delirious and could not tolerate monitoring tools and / or had insufficient bilateral auditory temporal bone windows were excluded from this study. The study was approved by the local Institutional Review Board (IRB). Informed consent was obtained from the patients or their guardians.

[0049] 2. Clinical evaluation

[0050] All patients underwent standard assessments of demographics, medical history, previous medications, intravenous tissue plasminogen activator (IV t-PA) before EVT, stroke severity (NIHSS), and stroke subtype. Baseline CT or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and digital s...

Abstract

The invention discloses an index and a system for predicting the prognosis of patients with acute ischemic stroke receiving blood vessel recanalization therapy, and the index includes PAC variability and its parameters. The present invention uses correlation analysis to prove that PAC variability and its parameters are related to the prognosis of patients with ischemic stroke. Based on the above research results, the present invention has developed a system and method for predicting the prognosis of patients with acute ischemic stroke receiving vascular recanalization therapy, providing a new strategy for clinically predicting the prognosis of such patients.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of clinical diagnosis, and relates to an index and a system for predicting the prognosis of patients with acute ischemic stroke receiving blood vessel recanalization therapy. Background technique [0002] Revascularization therapy is a safe and effective treatment for acute ischemic stroke caused by cerebral artery occlusion. The number of acute ischemic stroke patients undergoing revascularization therapy is increasing worldwide. However, not all patients can achieve satisfactory clinical outcomes after revascularization therapy. According to reports, about 47% of patients receiving recanalization therapy were ineffective for recanalization (ie, the 90-day mRS score was greater than 2 points). Preclinical studies have shown that 70% of ischemic lesions are caused by reperfusion injury. Therefore, effective control of blood pressure, cerebral edema, and systemic complications after mechanical thrombectomy is essent...
