The formaldehyde-absorbing paint coating comprises the following raw materials in parts by weight: 30-40 parts of acrylic resin, 30-40 parts of cellulsic resin, 15-20 parts of rosin resin, 1-2 parts of dye, 2-3 parts of nanoscale titanium dioxide, 3-5 parts of sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, 5-7 parts of modified white carbon black, 2-3 parts of a dispersing agent, 1-2 parts of a defoaming agent, 3-5 parts of a formaldehyde absorbent, 1-2 parts of diphenyl polysiloxane and 10-15parts of a plant extracting solution. According to the invention, the plant extracting solution is added into the paint coating, natural properties of plants are utilized to have effects of formaldehyde absorption and anti-microbico, when the free formaldehyde in the plate is released outwards, the formaldehyde removal additive in the paint film is used for synergistic adsorption, so that the plant faint scent is added, the pungent smell of the paint is reduced, the physical and chemical properties of the paint are not influenced, and the formaldehyde removal additive and the paint have a synergistic effect to remove the free formaldehyde in various kinds of furniture.
