Abstract

The invention provides an experimental device and method for simulating the impact effect of a falling object on a buried pipe cable. The experimental device is composed of a simulation water tank, asoil box, a ship movement and falling object throwing system, a pipe cable model, a measurement system, a control host and a synchronizer. The impact process of the ship in a motion state on the buried pipe cable during emergency anchor dropping can be simulated; the impact instantaneous process is captured; the generated data is analyzed and researched; and an optical fiber strain sensor and a miniature pressure sensor are adopted. Compared with a traditional mode, the appearance size, the structural strength and the mechanical property of the pipe cable are not influenced; meanwhile, a synchronizer is adopted for controlling strain measurement, impact force measurement, falling object speed measurement and a soil body measurement instrument, synchronous measurement and recording of all physical parameters are achieved, and revealing and analyzing of the impact process and the pipe and cable damage mechanism are facilitated.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention mainly relates to the fields of ports, oceans, and traffic engineering, in particular to an experimental device and method for simulating the impact effect of buried umbilical cables by falling objects. Background technique [0002] Underwater umbilical structures such as submarine tunnels, oil pipelines, and communication optical cables are a similar type of marine engineering structure, which play an important role in the fields of marine transportation, marine energy, and pipeline communications. Such umbilical structures are usually buried at a certain depth below the surface of the seabed and protected by an overburden layer above. With the rapid development of the maritime shipping industry, the offshore area covered by the port is becoming larger and larger, and the tonnage of ships is also developing towards large-scale development. The density of ships entering and leaving the port is also greatly increased, especially when the u...
