Problems solved by technology

Through the analysis of Arabidopsis thaliana overexpressing RabGAP3 transgenic plants, we found that the function of this gene directly causes defects in intracellular vesicle packing, thereby affecting the gravitropism of root growth, and adult plants appear early flowering and precocious maturation

Embodiment Construction

[0041] The present invention will be further elaborated below by examples, the purpose of which is to better understand the content of the present invention rather than limit the protection scope of the present invention.

[0042] The present invention intends to further analyze the biological effect of the RabGAP3 gene in regulating the vesicle development of organelles, and use Arabidopsis thaliana as a model plant to analyze the molecular mechanism of how vesicle development defects cause premature maturation, in order to analyze the prematurity signal in plants. The purpose of conducting pathways in organelles is to provide new molecular breeding resources for early maturation and high yield selection of other crops such as rice, wheat and other cereal crops through genetic engineering.

Abstract

The invention provides an arabidopsis thaliana RabGAP3 gene controlling vesicle development, a recombinant constructed body of the gene and application. The gene is derived from arabidopsis thaliana Colombia ecotype (Col-0), and has a nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO.1, the nucleotide sequence of an open reading frame of the gene is SEQ ID NO.2, and an amino acid sequence encoded by a cDNA of thegene is SEQ ID NO.3. Overexpression of the RabGAP3 gene directly causes an intracellular vesicle pile-up defect, so that geotropism of arabidopsis thaliana root systems during growth is affected, adult plants have early flowering and early maturing phenomena, and further the heritability of the phenotypes is proved. The invention provides new gene resources for mining new vesicle development regulation gene to participate in early maturing variety breeding in the arabidopsis thaliana.

Description

[0001] The invention belongs to the field of plant biotechnology, and relates to an essential gene for controlling plant vesicle development and application thereof, in particular to an Arabidopsis thaliana RabGAP3 gene for controlling vesicle development, a recombinant construct and application thereof. Background technique [0002] The life activities of eukaryotic cells are material exchange and information exchange carried out by various organelles through fine division of labor and mutual cooperation. As the basic unit of biological activities, organelles have specific components and spatial locations in cells. Vesicle transport can not only ensure the stability of organelle components and the continuity of intracellular signal transmission, but transport defects have been found to be directly related to organelle development defects and cancer. Therefore, the study of vesicle transport mechanism also won the 2013 Nobel Prize in Physiology and Medicine. As the research o...
