Embodiment Construction

[0030] In the drawings, reference numeral "1" denotes a closed enclosure. The pen 1 comprises an enclosed barrier 11 for the fish, a buoyancy system 2 , a water supply system 3 , a drain 4 and a feeding system 5 . The pen 1 also includes a mooring system (not shown), and the pen 1 may also include power cables (not shown) extending to the shore for energy supply.

[0031] The closed barrier 11 is formed by a waterproof material 13 in the form of a fabric. The closed pen 1 is kept afloat by a barrier 11 attached to the buoyancy system 2 . The buoyancy system 2 is shown as an internal buoyancy system 21 (see figure 2 ). The internal buoyancy system 21 comprises at least one annular buoyancy body 22 surrounding the barrier 11 . The buoyancy system 2 also includes an external buoyancy system 23 . The external buoyancy system 23 is shown as a modular buoyancy system 24 consisting of buoyancy elements 25 . A plurality of buoyancy elements 25 are connected to each other and su...

Abstract

A feeding system (5) for a closed pen (1) for fish farming, the closed pen (1) being provided with a water-supply system (3) comprising a supply pipe (31) which, at its upper portion (39), is providedwith a housing (6) with a lower portion (60), a middle portion (65) and an upper portion (69), there being, extending from the middle portion (65) of the housing (6), a feeding pipe (33) which is arranged to convey water that is entering the housing (6) at the lower portion (60) to the inside of the closed pen (1), and the feeding system comprising a feed hopper (51) and a feeder (53) for carrying a feed out of the feed hopper (51) and up to a mouth (57), the mouth (57) being positioned at the upper portion (69) of the housing (6), and the housing (6) being provided with a passage between theupper portion (69) and the middle portion (65) so that the feed is carried in the water and into the closed pen (1).

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a feeding device for feeding fish in a closed pen. More specifically, the present invention relates to conveying feed from a feed hopper or some other container for feed into a stream of water entering an enclosed enclosure. The flow of water is preferably fed into the closed pen at the top of the pen. The water flow is generated by a pump. More specifically, the invention relates to delivering feed into the upper portion of a housing where a pump generates an upward flow of water in the lower portion of the housing and where the water and feed pass through substantially A horizontal feed pipe exits the housing in the middle and enters the enclosure through the feed pipe. Inside the pen, the feed tube may form a curved mouth piece for water and feed to be delivered in a generally horizontal and circulating flow inside the pen. Background technique [0002] Usually, fish farming in the sea takes place in so-called op...
