[0034] Example 1 Screening of fish biological indicator species in the Liuxi River ecosystem in Guangzhou

[0035] A water ecological assessment method based on the diversity of fish biological functions, the method steps are as follows figure 1 As shown, the Liuxi River ecosystem in Guangzhou was selected for the selection of fish biological indicator species.

[0037] 1. Overview of the screening area for fish biological indicator species

[0038] Liuxi River is located in the northwest of Conghua District (23°12'30″~23°57’36″N, 113°10’12″~114°2’00″E) and the central and northern part of the Pearl River Delta. Originating from Guifeng Mountain in Lvtian Town, Conghua District, it flows through the Conghua District and Baiyun District and merges with numerous streams. It flows into the Pearl River after confluence with the Baini River at Nangangkou of Jiang Village, Jianggao Town, Baiyun District, and flows into the South China Sea. 171km, the total area of the...

Abstract

Disclosed is a screening method for a fish functional indicator species in a river ecosystem. The method comprises the following steps that S1, sampling sites are determined in the river ecosystem, and fish organisms at the sampling sites are collected and identified; S2, grouping is conducted according to the environment type, wherein the sampling sites with similar habitats are classified into one group; S3, the indicator species is screened out, wherein the average abundance and relative occurrence frequency of each type of fishes in each group are calculated, then the indicator value of each type of fishes in each group is obtained according to the average abundance and the relative occurrence frequency, the species with the largest indicator value in each group is screened out, and the fishes with the indicator value greater than 55% are screened out as the indicator species; S4, the indicator species is determined, wherein the species screened out in S3, species habits and habitats thereof and whether or not the species is an alien species are judged to determine the indicator species. The fish indicator species screened out by means of the method can be used for subsequent monitoring of the pollution status of the river environment, and an effective measure is formulated in time for the pollution status.

Description

Technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical research field of river ecosystem health and risk assessment, and more specifically, to a method for screening fish function indicator species in the river ecosystem. Background technique [0002] As the intensity of human activities continues to increase, human activities have a huge impact on the environment, especially river biodiversity. Due to a series of external disturbances such as industrial and agricultural wastewater pollution, river reconstruction, land reclamation, water network, comprehensive management, etc., the degradation of river biological habitats has led to the reduction of river biodiversity. Along with the reduction of the biodiversity of the river ecosystem, the structural stability of the river environment system has been destroyed, so that the water environment is fragile, which reduces the ecological value of the water body and at the same time exacerbates the global water crisis. Therefore...
