Abstract

The method comprises the steps of detecting the internal voltage of an MCU; judging whether the MCU is powered down or not according to the internal voltage of the MCU; and if the MCU is powered down, increasing the DAC output level of the MCU so as to reduce the bias voltage provided for the APD. According to the control method for providing the bias voltage for the APD provided by the invention, when the MCU is powered down, the bias voltage is supplied to the APD; the MCU controls the DAC to increase the output level, so that the bias voltage provided for the APD is pulled to a very low level value at the beginning of power failure, and the subsequent overshoot peak value islocated in the safe working range of the APD, thereby playing a role in protecting the APD and avoiding damage of overshoot to the APD; besides, the method provided by the invention only utilizes software to avoid overshoot, does not add extra hardware devices, is low in cost, and is simple and easy to implement.
