Embodiment 1

[0036] A method for improving early benefits of pecan orchards. The method improves benefits by interplanting rapeseed in young orchards of pecans. The method specifically includes the following steps: (1) Field selection: the annual rainfall in the area where the field is located is 1106 mm, and the annual rainfall is 1106 mm. The average temperature is 15°C, the sum of the daily average temperature ≥ 10°C is 5068°C, and the frost-free period is 237 days. Select a plot with a soil pH value of 7, a soil layer thickness of more than 1 meter, sufficient sunlight, and good drainage and irrigation. Be close to water sources and have fertile soil;

[0037] (2) Variety selection: the ratio of the pollinated species of pecan to the main planted species is 1:6; the planted species are Mahan, Pawnee, Shoshone, Winston, and rapeseed is Brassica napus;

[0038] (3) Soil improvement and site preparation: Remove miscellaneous trees and weeds in the garden, apply 3% phoxim granules to elimi...

Embodiment 2

[0045] A method for improving early benefits of pecan orchards. The method improves benefits by interplanting rapeseed in young orchards of pecans. The method specifically includes the following steps: (1) Field selection: the annual rainfall in the area where the field is located is 1450mm, and the annual rainfall is 1450 mm. The average temperature is 18.6°C, the sum of the daily average temperature ≥ 10°C is 5987.8°C, and the frost-free period is 286 days. Select a plot with a soil pH value of 8, a soil layer thickness of more than 1 meter, sufficient sunlight, and good drainage and irrigation. It should be close to water sources or have irrigation conditions and fertile soil;

[0046] (2) Variety selection: the ratio of the pollinated tree of pecan to the main tree is 1:9; the varieties of pecan are Chicote, Pawnee, Posey, and Shoshone, and the variety of rapeseed is Chinese cabbage Type rape.

Embodiment 3

[0054] A method for improving early benefits of pecan orchards. The method improves benefits by interplanting rapeseed in young orchards of pecans. The method specifically includes the following steps: (1) Field selection: the annual rainfall in the area where the field is located is 1450mm, and the annual rainfall is 1450 mm. The average temperature is 19.6°C, the sum of the daily average temperature ≥ 10°C is 6500°C, the frost-free period is 325 days, the soil pH value is 7.5, the soil layer thickness is more than 1 meter, the sunlight is sufficient, and the drainage and irrigation are good. It should be close to water sources or have irrigation conditions and fertile soil;

[0055] (2) Variety selection: The ratio of the pollinated species of pecan to the main plant species is 1:7; the varieties of pecan are Jinhua No. 1, Pony, Winston, Mahan, Posey, and rapeseed The selection of varieties depends on the altitude of the site. Brassica napus is used below 600 meters above se...

Abstract

The invention relates to the technical field of thin-shell pecan planting, in particular to a method for improving the early benefits in a thin-shell pecan orchard. The method includes the following steps: (1) garden selection: selecting soil pH value between 7 and 8 and soil layer thickness over 1 meter; (2) variety selection; (3) soil modification and preparation: removing miscellaneous trees and weeds in the garden and preparing soil according to the conditions of the garden; (4) field planting: the plant row spacing of pecan is (4-8)m* (8-12)m, digging field planting holes according to theplant row spacing, wherein the amount of rape seeds sown per mu in the orchard is 0.25-1.0kg; (5) water and fertilizer management: applying sufficient organic fertilizers or farmyard manure to the bottoms of the planting holes before pecan planting, and applying base fertilizers to rape during deep rotary tillage; watering pecan and rape according to climate and soil moisture; and (7) cutting andcovering. Through rape interplanting, the early benefits in the pecan orchard are improved, and the incomes of growers are increased.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of pecan planting, in particular to a method for improving early benefits of pecan orchards. Background technique [0002] Thin shell hickory [Carya illinoensis (Wangech.) K. Koch], also known as long hickory, American hickory, is a plant of the genus Carya Nutt of the family Julandaceae. Originated in the United States, it has become a world-renowned dried fruit. The husk is thin, the kernel content rate reaches more than 50%, the kernel oil content rate exceeds 70%, and the unsaturated fatty acid exceeds 90%. It is a woody oil plant with great potential and has high economic value. Since the 20th century, more than 20 countries in the world have introduced and planted pecans with thin shells. According to incomplete statistics, the world's total output (shelled) of thin-shelled pecans is 124,000 tons, with an output value of 1.847 billion US dollars, mainly distributed in China, Mexico, South Africa, and...
