Abstract

The invention discloses an FRU information refreshing method, which is applied to a baseboard management controller, and comprises the following steps: receiving an FRU information uploading request and a corresponding FRU information file; determining a target FRU component to be subjected to FRU information refreshing according to the FRU information uploading request; determining a target register corresponding to the target FRU component; and writing the FRU information file into the target register in response to the FRU information refreshing instruction. According to the method, the FRUinformation file is directly written into the register corresponding to the target FRU component by the baseboard management controller, the FRU information of the target FRU component can be refreshed without manual burning and connection interface replacement, the method is simple and easy to implement, the workload and time consumption are greatly reduced, and the processing efficiency is effectively improved. The invention further discloses an FRU information refreshing device, a baseboard management controller and a computer readable storage medium, which also have the above beneficial effects.
