Abstract

The invention discloses a test method for the anti-wind-induced-galloping performance of an OPGW optical cable. The method comprises: determining a tensile factor of the anti-wind-induced-galloping performance of an OPGW optical cable; determining a tensile force level based on an applied tensile acceleration test effect to obtain the line galloping performance of the optical cable; determining atensile force angle based on the applied tensile acceleration test effect to obtain the line galloping performance of the optical cable; according to the tensile force level and the tensile force angle based on the applied tensile acceleration test effect, acquiring a optical power and a stress detection value; acquiring an error code and a packet loss detection value according to the tensile force level and the tensile force angle based on the applied tensile acceleration test effect; constructing an OPGW cable galloping simulation model to obtain a stress-strain curve graph; and constructinga fiber link signal attenuation simulation model to obtain a signal additional attenuation curve graph. According to the invention, the optical cable physical damage and fiber additional attenuationchange, which are caused by the fatigue and strain, of the installed OPGW optical cable under the galloping effect in a harsh environment of the plateau are obtained.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of optical cable and optical fiber, in particular to a method for testing the wind-blow galloping performance of an OPGW optical cable. Background technique [0002] Optical cable galloping is a natural disaster that seriously harms transmission lines. A large number of facts show that because of its long duration, the galloping of optical cables often lasts for several hours, which greatly threatens the operation safety of high-voltage transmission lines. In addition, galloping can easily lead to whiplash of optical cable conductors, arc burns, broken wires and broken strands, etc., and can easily lead to severe wear, breakage, shedding of hardware, breakage of insulator steel feet, toppling of towers, and line tripping. Cause large-scale power outages or network disconnection, causing incalculable losses to social economy and life. [0003] Optical cable galloping is a phenomenon produced by overhead lin...
