The navigation signal recognition system utilizes a programmable logic controller and the signal processing server and is combined with the upper computer software system to perform navigation signal recognition and display. The recognition method comprises the steps that through the programmable controller, navigation signals in a ship are collected, and a telescope is utilized to be combined witha camera to obtain the situation of ships on the periphery of the ship; through analysis and processing of pictures, navigation signals of the external ships are judged and recognized, finally, the collected navigation signals of the ship and external ships are sent to an upper computer for display, so that ship crew can understand navigational statuses of the ship and surrounding other ships, andreference proposals of safe navigation of the ships are provided, thereby improving the navigation safety.
