Abstract

The invention discloses a supersonic wave based air film thickness measuring system and method of an airfoil bearing, and relates to the technical field of air bearings. The system comprises a currentvortex displacement sensor, a supersonic wave emitting and receiving device, a hydrogel layer and a signal processing device; and the air film thickness of the airfoil bearing can be monitored in real time in a lossless way. The current vortex displacement sensor measures displacement of a rotor in the two vertical directions, and calculates an axial center track of the rotor; the supersonic waveemitting and receiving device emits and receives a supersonic signal reflected by the hydrogel layer, and transmits data to the signal processing device; the signal processing device analyzes and stores the data to obtain an elastic deformation amount of a support layer measuring point of the airfoil bearing; and the air film thickness of the measurement point is obtained according to the axial center track of the rotor and the elastic deformation amount of the support layer measuring point. According to the system and method, supersonic wave measurement is introduced, hydrogel is combined with the airfoil bearing, and the air film thickness of the airfoil bearing is measured in a non-invention way.
