specific Embodiment

[0044] Step 1. Sample preparation

[0045] Step 1.1 press predetermined dry density (such as 1.7g / cm 3 ) and volume (such as Φ50mm×10mm) and other parameters, calculate and weigh the corresponding mass of bentonite, and pour it into the compaction mold;

[0046] Step 1.2 prepares the test sample 3 by uniaxial static pressing, measures the quality, height and diameter of the test sample 3 at the same time, and calculates the true dry density of the test sample 3;

[0047] Step 2. Sample installation

[0048] Step 2.1 Place the permeable stone 2 in the groove of the pressure chamber 4, and place the test sample 3 and the permeable stone 2 in sequence;

[0049] Step 2.2 Tightly connect the pressure sensor 5 with the pressure chamber 4, and put them into the test box 6 as a whole;

[0050] Step 2.3 Connect the water inlet and outlet pipes of each channel to the corresponding inlet and outlet pipe joints of the pressure chamber 4 .

Abstract

The invention specifically relates to an apparatus and method for testing the swelling pressure and saturated infiltration performance of a buffer material, belonging to the field of experimental study of the swelling and infiltration of buffer materials used for geological disposal of high-level waste. The objective of the invention is to provide the testing method capable of acquiring the swelling and infiltration performance parameters of the buffer material bentonite and providing a parameter basis for barrier design of deep geological disposal repositories and projects of high-level wasteso as to overcome disadvantages in the prior art. The method has the following beneficial effects: (1) the swelling pressure of the bentonite under a constant-volume condition can be measured; (2) the swelling pressure and saturated infiltration performance of a sample under different temperature and exhausting conditions can be tested; and (3) the swelling pressure and infiltration coefficient of a same sample can be carried out at the same time, operation is convenient, measurement is fast, and test results are high in precision.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the research field of expansion and permeation tests of buffer materials for geological disposal of high-level radioactive waste, and in particular relates to a test method for expansion force and saturation permeation of buffer materials. Background technique [0002] As an important part of the multiple barrier system in the repository, the buffer material plays the role of engineering barrier and hydraulic barrier. In the high-level radioactive waste repository, bentonite used as a buffer material should not only close the gap between the surrounding rock of the repository and the waste tank and the cracks in the surrounding rock near the field, but also relieve the pressure of the surrounding rock in the formation on the waste tank. Therefore, Both a certain expansion force and a certain expansion and deformation capacity are required, so it is necessary to study the expansion properties of the buffer material bentonite. ...
