The invention provides a building bridge structure safety monitoring system based on a wireless sensor network, which comprises a wireless sensor network monitoring device, a base station device and amonitoring center, wherein the wireless sensor network monitoring device comprises a plurality of sensor nodes, and the sensor nodes monitor and sense a dangerous part of the bridge and send the obtained monitoring data of the dangerous part of the bridge to the base station device; the base station device aggregates the monitoring data of the dangerous part of the bridge sent by each sensor nodeand then forwards the monitoring data to the monitoring center after processing; and the monitoring center is used for analyzing and processing the monitoring data of the dangerous part of the bridgesent by the base station device. According to the system in the invention, the wireless sensor network technology is utilized to realize the safety monitoring of the bridge structure, and the systemis simple in structure.
