The rhizome peeling equipment comprises a housing, wherein a subdividing deviceis fixedly connected to the middle part of the top of the housing, and comprises a first sleeve; the first sleeve is vertically arranged at the middle of the top of the housing; a first gear is fixedly connected to the outer side wall of the first sleeve; a second gear is meshed to the left side of the first gear; and a first rotating shaft is fixedly connected to the lower side of the second gear, and is fixedly connected with an output shaft of a first motor located on the upper side of the housing. The rhizome peeling equipment disclosed by the invention has the following beneficial effectsthat firstly, subdividing treatment is performed on barks on surface layers of traditional Chinese medicines by subdividing protrusions arranged on the inner side wall of the first sleeve, and the barks on the surface layer are cut into sections, so that subsequent peeling treatment is convenient to perform; and secondly, when medicinal materials are forced by pressure, the barks on the surface layer of the medicinal materials can be removed by a bark removing ring, and the barks which are cut into sections can be more conveniently removed, so that the bark removing effect is effectively improved.
