Abstract

The invention discloses a hard disk lamp signal control system, which comprises a plurality of hard disks, a light emitting diode unit and a control unit, wherein the control unit judges whether a hard disk is a hard disk which supports an SAS (Serial Attached SCSI) / SATA (Serial Advanced Technology Attachment) protocol or a solid state disk which supports a PCI-E (Peripheral Component Interface Express) protocol according to the logic values of the first judgment signal and the second judgment signal of each hard disk; and the control unit takes an SGPIO (Serial General Purpose Input / Output) protocol to transmit and receive a signal to obtain the operation state of a hard disk which supports the SAS / SATA protocol. By use of the control unit, according to the operation state of each hard disk, one corresponding light emitting diode group in the light emitting diode unit group is controlled to emit light to display the operation state of the hard disk.
