The vertical quenching furnace is characterized in that furnace door rails are arranged below the furnace door; two slide bars capable of sliding in the furnace door rails are arranged on the two sides of the furnace door; the two ends of each slide bar are in outward extension connection with straight arms; hydraulic oil cylinders are mounted below all the straight arms; an asbestos seal is arranged between the furnace door and the furnace body; and the bottom of the furnace door is connected with a pull rod.
