Abstract

The method comprises the following steps: enabling sulfur dioxide-containing gas to enter the entrained-flow bed from a gas inlet below a venturi tube in the entrained-flow bed, accelerating the sulfur dioxide-containing gas by the venturi tube, and then enabling sulfur dioxide-containing gas to carry the carbon-based material conveyed by a powder conveying machine to form a gas-flow fluidized state; under a high-temperature condition, reducing the sulfur dioxide into the sulfur under the catalytic reduction of active coke; enabling produced gaseous sulfur to flow into a separator under the driving of a gas flow to remove solid impurities, and then enabling the gaseous sulfur to enter a reheater for initially cooling and then enter a condenser for cooling again, wherein the sulfur is condensed into liquid sulfur which is collected by a liquid sulfur collecting device, cooled gas enters a catalytic reduction device to reduce a sulfur-containing substance in the gas into sulfur, and produced waste gas is heated by the reheater and is then inflated into the entrained-flow bed for providing energy for a reduction reaction in the entrained-flow bed.
