Abstract

The device comprises a ruler body and a measuring claw module that is movably arranged above the ruler body. The ruler body comprises a fixed grid module including a capacitive grid sensor. The measuring claw module comprises a control module and a moving grid module of the capacitive grid sensor. The moving grid module is electrically connected to the fixed grid module. The fixed grid module and the moving grid module are used for measuring the displacement of the measuring claw module relative to the ruler body and converting the displacement into digital pulse. The displacement of the measuring claw module relative to the ruler body is the diameter of the standing tree at the breast height. The control module is used for obtaining the diameter of the standing tree at the breast height according to the digital pulse.
