Abstract

In order to overcome the deficiencies of the prior art, the present invention aimsto propose a water supply pipe network model construction method, which has a simple structure, good performance, and a low cost. The technical scheme of the present invention is a water supply pipe network management and hydraulic model construction method by using an open source GIS and a database. The method comprises the following steps: (1) for a pipe section, a node, and a reservoir layer that are necessary for a water supply pipe network, rationally designing attribute fields thereof; (2) using open source QGIS (Quantum GIS) desktop software to manage data and maps of the water supply pipe network, and to implement data entry and editing functions and query and statistics functions; (3) using open-source PostGIS geodatabases to store water pipe network data; (4) inputting the conversion of files to the EPANET; and (5) carrying out hydraulic simulation and calculation. The method provided by the present invention can be mainly applied to information processing occasions of a municipal engineering water supply pipe network.
