Abstract

A relationship between a traffic matrix and a link load is discussed, constraint conditions are introduced, andoptimal target functions are constructed; then a proper target function is selected and subjected to iterative optimization, and by introducing a resolution matrix and combining an attribute of the resolution matrix, an excellent network tomography prior result is obtained in the iterative process; and next, the traffic matrix is well estimated by adopting a simplex method. According to the method, a statistical inference method is not used for estimating the traffic matrix, so that not only is sensitivity for apriority reduced, but also a speed of network tomography is improved. The public communication multi-service traffic estimation method disclosed by the invention can achieve effects of rapidly and accurately estimating the traffic matrix and tracking a dynamic state of the trafficmatrix.
