Abstract

The invention discloses a cotton nano-cellulose whisker composite resin material for dental filling; the composite resin material, which is applied to a dental filling material, consists of a resin matrix and surface-modified cotton nano-cellulose whiskers, wherein the resin matrix is a mixture of Bis-GMA, TEGDMA, CQ and 4EDMAB. The addition of the surface-modified cotton nano-cellulose whiskers is 1-2% of the mass of the resin matrix. The whiskers provided by the invention, through appropriate addition, can avoid influence to the solubility, water absorption and color stability of the composite resin, and when the content of the cotton nano-cellulose whiskers reaches 1-2%, the optimum bending strength is achieved, which is 11% above that of a pure-resin matrix; and when the content of thecotton nano-cellulose whiskers is 1%, the bending strength is improved by 25% in comparison with the pure-resin matrix.
