Problems solved by technology

[0003] The passive spent fuel pool cooling system in the above-mentioned patent only relies on natural circulation to provide a relatively small driving pressure head, and the above-mentioned patent needs to use air to condense the cooling medium steam. Due to the small heat transfer coefficient of the air side, it is difficult to obtain good condensation effect

Embodiment Construction

[0022] The present invention will be further described below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and specific embodiments, but the present invention is not limited to the specific embodiments described in the following examples.

[0023] combine figure 1, a high-efficiency passive spent fuel pool cooling system using injection technology provided by the present invention includes: injection subsystem, heat exchanger inlet pipe section 104, water space heat exchanger 12, air space heat exchanger 13, heat exchanger outlet Pipe section 105, chimney 16 and associated piping and valves. Among them, the injection subsystem has two structures: the injection subsystem 1 includes a high-pressure gas storage tank 3, a water storage tank 4, an air-(gas, water) injector 11, a high-pressure gas storage tank outlet pipe section 101, and a water storage tank outlet pipe 102. Air inlet pipe section 103 and related pipes and valves; injection subsystem 2 includes high-pressure gas t...

Abstract

The invention provides an efficient passive spent fuel pool cooling system adopting a jet technology, and belongs to the field of nuclear power plant safety. The system comprises a jet subsystem, a heat exchanger inlet pipe section, a water space heat exchanger, a gas space heat exchanger, a heat exchanger outlet pipe section, a chimney and related pipeline values. When the temperature of a spentfuel pool is higher than a warning value, the system puts into operation automatically, air outside a fuel plant is injected through high pressure gas ejected by a high pressure gas storage tank in the jet subsystem, or water inside a water storage tank and air outside the fuel plant are injected at the same time, and powerful driving force is provided for a cooling loop while the total quantity of a cooling fluid is increased. When the water or gas inside the subsystem in the jet subsystem is used up, the system still can form passive natural circulation in virtue of the density difference ofair in cold and hot sections, and long-term cooling is carried out on the spent fuel pool, so that effectively passive cooling of the spent fuel pool in 3 to 6 days or even longer time can be guaranteed in accident conditions and when an external power supply is lost.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention discloses a high-efficiency passive spent fuel water pool cooling system using injection technology, belonging to the safety field of nuclear power plants. Background technique [0002] With the continuous development of nuclear power technology, more and more attention has been paid to the safety of nuclear power plants. The cooling system of the spent fuel pool in the prior art generally relies on active equipment to operate, and the operation of these active equipment needs to rely on the main power supply or emergency power supply of the nuclear power plant. When an accident occurs in a nuclear power plant and all power is cut off, the active equipment will lose power supply and cannot start the cooling system. Under such circumstances, the heat generated by the spent fuel will not be released, causing the temperature in the spent fuel pool to continue to rise. What's more serious is that the water in the spent fuel pool boils and e...
