Problems solved by technology

As the asphalt concrete pavement is exposed to the air for a long time, under the action of environmental factors such as heat radiation, oxygen, sunlight and water, the asphalt will age, and a series of volatilization, oxidation, polymerization, and even the internal property and structure of the asphalt will change. Changes lead to the deterioration of the road performance of the asphalt concrete pavement, resulting in serious damage to the asphalt concrete pavement and increasing maintenance costs

Abstract

A pavement asphalt aging diagnosis method utilizing inverse piezoelectric effect includes following steps: (1), inspecting various road materials, sampling for testing, selecting materials needed for asphalt concrete according to a testing result, determining grading of an asphalt mixture, testing and determining related performance of an asphalt material; (2), cutting a pit suitable for a piezoelectric material on a selected newly-paved asphalt concrete pavement, treating the surface of the pit, and burying the piezoelectric material in the asphalt concrete pavement; (3), utilizing an asphalt aging diagnosis device to measure displacement of the piezoelectric material in the newly-paved asphalt concrete pavement for the first time; (4), in different service cycles, repeatedly measuring the piezoelectric material in the asphalt concrete pavement, and quantitatively analyzing asphalt aging according to displacement change. The method has the advantages that the method is simple, quick, clean, environment-friendly and needless of heavy testing detection equipment, and efficient quantitative decision-making data are provided for management and maintenance of the asphalt concrete pavement.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for diagnosing asphalt aging, in particular to a method for diagnosing asphalt aging on pavement using inverse piezoelectric effect, which belongs to the field of road traffic. Background technique [0002] Asphalt concrete pavement has the advantages of no joints, good surface flatness, smooth driving, high degree of construction mechanization, fast progress, good quality, and simple maintenance. Therefore, asphalt concrete pavement has attracted more and more attention and has been widely used. As of the end of 2016, my country's asphalt concrete pavement has exceeded 600,000 kilometers. As the asphalt concrete pavement is exposed to the air for a long time, under the action of environmental factors such as heat radiation, oxygen, sunlight and water, the asphalt will age, and a series of volatilization, oxidation, polymerization, and even the internal property and structure of the asphalt will change. The change wil...
