Abstract

The invention discloses a target positioning method and device. The method comprises: digital broadcast information transmitted by a base station is obtained at a current target position; according to the digital broadcast information and a first preset rule, a distance between the current target position and the base station is calculated; and on the basis of the digital broadcast information, the distance between the current target position and the base station, and a preset algorithm, a position coordinate of the current target position is calculated and the current target position is localized based on the position coordinate. According to the method disclosed by the invention, information data in the digital broadcast information transmitted from the base station are obtained and the distance between the target position and the base station is calculated; on the basis of the distance and the digital broadcast information, the two-dimensional position coordinate of the target position is calculated; and then the target position is localized based on the two-dimensional position coordinate. Therefore, target position positioning is completed by using one base station, so that a problem that interference occurs frequently because of usage of a navigation satellite is solved.
