Abstract

The method comprises the steps of: (1) setting of interplanting time; (2) low cutting of zoysia; (3) applying of a growth inhibitor; (4) nutrient soil or river sand covering; (5) cold-season grass seed sowing; (6) post-sowing treatment; (7) post-sowing management; (8) trimming before green-turning of zoysia; (9) fertilization: composite fertilizer is applied after cutting and then normal management is performed. The interplanting method for zoysia plants has the advantages that the emergence rate of cold-season grass such as perennial ryegrass to reach 95% and above and cold-season grass can keep green in a withered and yellow period of zoysia, so that the problem of difficult interplanting of zoysia is solved; the method can promote wide application of zoysia plants.
