Abstract

The invention discloses a preparation method and application of a traditional Chinese herbal medicine composition for regulating the intestinal health of piglets. The composition is prepared from the following components: 5-10g of rhizoma atractylodis, 3-8g of rhizoma atractylodis macrocephalae, 7-12g of dried ginger, 3-5g of pericarpium citri reticulatae, 2-5g of coke hawthorn, 3-5g of coke medicated leaven and 2-5g of coke malt. The invention further discloses application of the traditional Chinese herbal medicine composition in the aspects of improving intestinal morphology and intestinal flora of piglets and improving piglet production performance by promoting intestinal health. Results indicate that rhizoma atractylodis, rhizoma atractylodis macrocephalae, coke hawthorn, coke medicated leaven and coke malt are added into the piglet feed to improve the intestinal morphology and intestinal flora of the piglets, and the effect for promoting intestinal health is remarkable.
