Abstract

The invention discloses application of okadaic acid in preparing a drug composition for treating periprosthetical osteolysis. The okadaic acid is of a structure shown as a formula (I). By studying treatment effect of the okadaic acid on periprosthetical osteolysis, a novel path is provided for preventing and treating periprosthetical osteolysis.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of new applications of chemical drugs, in particular to the drug use of okadaic acid in treating periprosthetic osteolysis. Background technique [0002] Peri-prosthetic osteolysis (PPO) is an important complication after total joint arthroplasty (TJA), and is often the main cause of failure and revision after arthroplasty. According to reports, about 40,000 patients after joint replacement in the United States need revision surgery every year, and in the next 25 years, the number of hip joint revisions will increase by 1.37 times, and the number of knee joint revisions will increase by 6 times. It also brings great pain and heavy economic loss to patients, and PPO is the main reason for failure and revision after replacement, and its treatment is particularly important. At present, it is believed that the biological reaction caused by long-term wear and tear of the prosthesis, resulting in increased bone r...
