The invention discloses a construction process of a municipal sewage purification system. The municipal sewage purification system comprises a pre-treatment system connected with municipal sewage, a multi-level aeration tank system and a post-treatment system, wherein the pre-treatment system comprises a sewage lifting pump, a primary filtering grid, an aeration grit chamber and a primary sedimentation tank; after the sewage is treated, the sewage flows into the multi-level aeration tank system through a natural water head; the multi-level aeration tank system comprises an aeration biological filter tank connected with the primary sedimentation tank, an air floating tank connected with the aeration biological filter tank and a dosing device arranged between the air floating tank and a coagulation sedimentation tank, and a filtering device, a disinfection device and a resin adsorption device which are used for treating the sewage subjected to dosing sedimentation of the coagulation sedimentation tank in sequence; the post-treatment system comprises a sludge tank connected with the primary sedimentation tank and the air floating tank respectively and a belt pressure filter or a volute centrifugal machine connected with the sludge tank; the sludge is treated by the belt pressure filter or the volute centrifugal machine to form a mud cake.
