Abstract

The invention provides a receiving device for preprocessing fragment data packets into data packets. The receiving device comprises a packet parser, a data storage, a decryption unit, a transmission engine, a header processing unit and a controller, wherein the packet parser is used for extracting fragment packet header information from fragment packet headers of fragment data packets; the decryption unit is used for decrypting encrypted data of each fragment data packet to obtain fragment load data and QUIC (Quick UDP Internet Connection) private headers including sequence information; the transmission engine is used for outputting the fragment load data to a specific position of a system storage; the header processing unit is used for calculating packet information according to the QUIC private headers, and updating the fragment packet headers of the data storage to generate a packet header; and the controller is used for controlling the transmission engine to output the packet header to the system storage according to the sequence information to generate a data packet.

Description

technical field [0001] This case relates to a receiving device, and in particular to a receiving device supporting the QUIC (Quick UDP Internet Connection) communication protocol and its packet processing method. Background technique [0002] The QUIC communication protocol is a low-latency network transport layer protocol based on the UDP protocol. The communication device supporting the QUIC communication protocol first receives at least one fragment data packet from other communication devices, and stores the fragment data packet into the system memory of the communication device. The communication device decrypts each segment data packet to obtain payload data contained in the segment data packet. [0003] The current communication device uses the central processing unit of the communication device to decrypt the fragment data packets. Because each fragment data packet needs to be decrypted, the utilization rate of the central processing unit will increase, and the curr...
