Abstract

The invention discloses a method for performing centralized routing control in a distributed communication network. A centralized routing control module is added in route switching equipment to become double-mode route switching equipment capable of working in a distributed routing mode and a centralized routing mode; the two routing modes are mutually exclusive; and mode switching is controlled by routing control management equipment. The method for performing centralized routing control in the distributed communication network has the beneficial technical effects that soft switching of the communication network between the distributed routing mode and the centralized routing mode is supported. When distributed routing of the communication network cannot converge or a routing loop exists, the communication network can be directly switched to the centralized routing mode, thereby effectively eliminating the routing loop. The centralized routing is adopted to provide valid loop-free routing for service transmission, so that the sensitivity of the network to link disturbance is lowered, and network management personnel can directly grasp a real-time network state.
