The PXE-based operation system processing method comprises the steps of receiving a processing instruction, wherein the processing instruction comprises an identifier of a to-be-processed server; obtaining a source file used for processing an operation system and corresponding to the identifier; performing formatting processing on the source file to obtain a formatted script file, and sending the script file to the to-be-processed server based on a PXE network; and compiling the script file based on the PXE network by the to-be-processed server, thereby performing automatic processing on the operation system. Through the method and the apparatus, the server can be booted to perform automated system processing, the automated processing effect of the server is improved, and the user experience is enhanced.
