Abstract

The invention relates to a [2+4]N heterocyclic cryptand and a preparation method thereof, for a example, reactant dibromobutane. The compound has the advantages that the synthesis method is simple, coordination sites are multiple, the cavity size is adjustable, and the like; and the compound has higher potential application values in the aspects of complex synthesis and molecule recognition. The invention relates to preparation of [2+4]N heterocyclic cryptand and can extend to preparation of related derivatives of the [2+4]N heterocyclic cryptand. The preparation method comprises the following three steps: by taking 1,4-dibromobutane as a raw material, carrying out alkyl substitution reaction, synthesis of Schiff base, and reduction by using a simple and economic method through rotary evaporation, recrystallization and other technologies, so as to prepare pure [2+4]N heterocyclic cryptand. The excellent coordination capacity of the N heterocyclic cryptand is primarily determined, therefore, the [2+4]N heterocyclic cryptand has higher potential application values in the aspect of molecule or ion recognition.
