The application comprises the following steps: preparing powder from the rhodosin and acceptable auxiliary materials, adding the powder into a feed, uniformly mixing the mixture, and feeding chicken according to a daily feed amount, wherein the adding amount of rhodosin is 5g in every 100kg of feed; or preparing rhodosin into rhodosin water soluble powder, dissolving the powder in water, feeding chicken according to daily water consumption, wherein the adding amount of rhodosin is 2.5g dissolved in every 100kg of water. Animal infection experiments verify that the anti-coccidia index (ACI) of the rhodosin can reach 175 above, and the rhodosin has relatively good anti-eimeria tenella action and is expected to be applied to preparing the anti-eimeria tenella drug.
