Abstract

The method is characterized by comprising the steps of: step 1, handling a situation of uneven illumination in the image, so that the brightness of the liver region in the image tends to be uniform; step 2, reducing noise in the image and completing image segmentation by using an FCM_I algorithm added with neighboring correlation information and priori shape information; step 3, acquiring a foreground region and a background region according to an FCM_I classification result and grey scale information; step 4, and acquiring an image of a complete liver region according to distribution and shapes of organs in a liver. The method for extracting the liver region in the ultrasound image provided by the invention improves the possible association of foreground pixels of the liver region, and reduces the association between the backgrounds of the liver region, thereby extracting the relatively complete liver region.
