The edible essence consists of 2-nonanone, 2-undecanone, pentanedione, butanedione, cis-3-hexenyl acetate, isoamyl acetate, ethyl pelargonate, isoamyl butyrate, linalyl acetate, methyl heptincarbonate, isoamyl isovalerate, ethyl butyrate, 4-methyl-5-thiazolylethyl acetate, butyl acetate, ethyl acetate, gamma-decalactone, delta-nonanolide, delta-undecalactone, cis-6-hydroxynonenal, heliotropin, acetaldehyde, mercaptan, leaf alcohol, linalool, vanillin, ethyl vanillin, ethyl maltol, eugenol, caryophyllene, butyric acid, capric acid, caproic acid, n-nonanoic acid, pineapple furanone, dimethyl sulfide, Vanilla bean tincture, clove bud oil, sweet orange oil, lemon oil, petitgrain oil and a solvent. The invention provides a preparation method of the essence. The preparation method comprises the following steps of adding the various raw materials into a container in sequence according to a formula ratio, and stirring the raw materials uniformly to obtain the edible essence for the children's toothpaste.
