Abstract

The invention discloses a universal measuring tool for the eccentricity of a crankshaft type part. The measuring tool comprises a dial indicator, an opened bush, and a V-shaped indicator rack. The V-shaped indicator rack has two support legs that are arranged symmetrically at a same horizontal position; a through hole is formed in the upper part of the V-shaped indicator rack; and the opened bush is arranged in the through hole. The dial indicator passes through the opened bush and is fixed at the opened bush by a bolt. A measuring rod and a measuring head of the dial indicator extend into the V-shaped indicator rack. According to the invention, the eccentricity can be measured at any time during turning and grinding processes; the complicated mathematic operation is avoided; the machine tool and the clamp can be adjusted conveniently at any time; and the hidden trouble of scrapping of a workpiece due to the practical out-of-tolerance eccentricity can be eliminated. The practical application demonstrates that the provided measuring tool not only can be used conveniently with precise reading but also enables the measuring work efficiency to be improved by over five times. The measuring tool is suitable for measurement of crankshaft type parts in volume production.
