The bookable double-layer intelligent parking lot comprises multiple parking places which are arranged in parallel and a control system. Each parking place is provided with a license plate identification unit which is used for acquiring license plate information in front of the current parking place in real time. Each parking place comprises an upper parking place and a lower parking place. The upper parking place and the lower parking place are respectively provided with a vehicle detection unit which is used for detecting the vehicle parking state of the upper parking place and the lower parking place. The control system comprises a control unit, a booking unit and a driving unit. Time of searching the parking place can be saved for users so that the parking efficiency can be greatly enhanced and the parking difficulty can be reduced. Meanwhile, the utilization rate of the parking lot can also be further enhanced by double-layer arrangement of the upper parking place and the lower parking place.
