AI Technical Summary

Benefits of technology

This patented process allows for extraction of pigments like citric acid (Cit) from soymayed crop material that has been previously treated or processed beforehand without affecting its quality. By this new technology, there'll save money on producing these materials while also improving their overall performance compared to existing methods such as chemical treatments. Additionally, the use of specific types of microorganisms helps improve the solubility of certain compounds found naturally occurring within them during processing.

Problems solved by technology

This patented technical problem addressed in this patent involves extracting useful components from soymilks that contain impurities such as phytate or other compounds found naturally within them (plant cells). Current techniques involve complicated operations with harmful solvents like acids for better results.

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for extracting pectin polysaccharides from soybean hulls. The method includes (1) homogenizing, (2) fermenting, (3) concentrating, (4) decoloring, (5) drying and (6) packing. The method for extracting the pectin polysaccharides from the soybean hulls has the advantages that the pectin polysaccharides are faint yellow, the method is simple, efficient and capable of achieving large-scale production, working efficiency is improved by 11.7%, yield reaches 32.83%, purity is 76.43% and production cost is saved by 13.4%; since the soybean hulls are ground and homogenized by direct addition of water, a great amount of soaking time and production cost are saved; through fermentation of multiple kinds of lactic acid bacteria, the pectin polysaccharides separate out more easily under the joint action of multiple kinds of fermentation products, so that the yield is increased fundamentally; soybean hull fermentation liquor only needs to be heated and boiled for a short time prior to concentration, and accordingly energy is saved and ethyl alcohol consumption is reduced; low-temperature precipitation after addition of ethyl alcohol promotes the pectin polysaccharides to generate flocculent precipitate, so that precipitating time is shortened remarkably.
