The method comprises: first two frames of images are transmitted; (N-1)th-frame image data and (N-2)th image data are buffered, wherein the N is larger than or equal to 3; the (N-1)th-frame image and (N-2)th image are converted into brightness matrixes and frequency spectrums F(M-1) and F(M-2) that correspond to all frames are obtained; according to the brightness matrixes and the frequency spectrums F(M-1) and F(M-2), an active region and a non-active region of Nth-frame image data are determined and predicted and an entropy in an active region of the (N-2)th-frame image data is calculated; on the basis of the active regions of the (N-2)th-frame image data and the (N-1)th-frame image data, entropies in the active regions of the (N-1)th-frame image data and the Nth-frame image data are calculated; and according to the determined entropies, image data needing compression and transmission are determined.
