Abstract

The invention relates to a folding plug and an assembly method thereof. The plug is reasonable in structure and convenient to assemble. The folding plug mainly comprises a hollow main shaft, side wings, metal sheets, plastic sleeves and an electric wire, wherein two side wings are hinged with the hollow main shaft, the axial positions are fixed through end covers and the side wings are prevented from falling off; the end covers and the hollow main shaft are provided with bumps; grooves are formed in the two side wings, so that the motion ranges of the side wings are limited and excessive distortion and fracture of the internal electric wires are prevented. A main electric wire penetrates into the hollow main shaft; an outer sheath and the inner wall of the hollow main shaft are bonded together through a binder to be prevented from falling off; the hollow main shaft is communicated with the two side wings through holes; a live wire and a zero wire pass through the holes, are introduced into wiring grooves in the side wings and are fixedly connected with the corresponding metal sheets in a welding manner; the strength of the root parts of the metal sheets is improved by the plastic sleeves; the plastic sleeves are fixedly connected with the wiring grooves through the binder respectively; a filler is put into each wiring groove; margins are left for the electric wires at two sides of the filler; partition of the fixed segment and the movable segment of the electric wire is ensured; and good contact of the electric wire after multiple folding deformation is further ensured.
