Abstract

The invention discloses a gynostemma pentaphylla contained healthcare drug composition having the effect of 'three highs' (high cholesterol, high blood pressure and high blood glucose) control and liver protection. The healthcare drug composition is prepared by blending of raw materials including, by weight, 50-70% of gynostermma pentaphylla, 10-20% of folium cortex eucommiae, 5-20% of frost mulberry leaves, 2-8% of lucid ganoderma, 2-8% of codonopsis pilosula, 2-8% of pueraria mirifica powder, 2-5% of calendula and 2-5% of balm; the gynostemma pentaphylla is obtained by blending of diploid gynostemma leaves and tetraploid gynostemma leaves in proportion. The healthcare drug composition is used for control of high cholesterol, high blood pressure and high blood glucose, regulation of metabolism of human bodies, elimination of toxicant and decreasing of lipid (reduction of cholesterol) and reduction of risk of fatty liver.
