According to the invention, the laser displacement sensor is used for measuring curvature radiuses of two segments of arcs of a tapered roller at the same height. With a non-contact way applied to the measurement process, the precise structure and profile of the arc on the surface of the tapered roller can be protected from being damaged; the curvature radius at the height can be fitted by using a least square method; and curvature radiuses at other heights are measured by repeating the same process, so that a total curvature radius of the tapered roller is calculated and then whether the total curvature radius meets a design requirement is determined.
