The method comprises the steps of receiving an input character string, wherein the character string comprises a first sub character string and a second sub character string; displaying the character string in a character region and displaying candidate information corresponding to the character string in a candidate region; determining candidate information corresponding to the first sub character string; detecting whether the second sub character string has an error or not; and if yes, removing the second sub character string from a character string region.
