The intelligent battery pack comprises a battery core, a controller and a plug connector, wherein the controller is respectively connected with the battery core and the plug connector and is used for controlling on and off of the battery pack and collecting real-time data of the battery core; the plug connector comprises a main plug connector and a communication interface, the main plug connector is used for being connected with an electric device, and the communication interface is used for outputting the real-time data of the battery core outside and receiving a controlling signal which controls the on and off of the battery pack. The control method mainly comprises a discharging control method, a charging control method and a communication method, so that a protection strategy is not performed when the battery pack in a discharging state is authorized. Furthermore, the intelligent battery pack has a self-test function and can transmit the real-time data of the battery core to a user for querying, so that the user can be convenient to comprehensively evaluate and use batteries; therefore, a purpose of prolonging the service lives of the batteries is achieved.
