Embodiment Construction

[0028] Figure 1a Shown will vibrate device 2 (see figure 2 An exemplary embodiment of an energy harvester 1 that converts vibratory motion of ) into electrical energy. The energy harvester 1 comprises a pendulum 3 pivotably attached to a vibration device 2, a motion limiter 4 arranged to limit the pivotal movement of the pendulum 3 during movement of the vibration device 2, and a generator connected to the pendulum 3 5 (see Figure 1b ). A generator 5 is arranged to convert the pivotal movement of the pendulum 3 into electrical energy. The oscillating motion of the oscillating device 2 has an operating frequency, and the pendulum 3 has a natural frequency different from the operating frequency of the oscillating device 2 . The movement limiter 4 consists of a first blocking element 6 arranged on one side of the pendulum 3 and a second blocking element 7 arranged on the other side of the pendulum 3 . The energy harvester 1 has a first spring element 8 with a first end 9 a...

Abstract

The invention relates to an energy harvester (1) for converting vibrational motion of a vibrating equipment (2) into electrical energy. The energy harvester (1) comprises a pendulum (3) arranged to be pivotably attached to said vibrating equipment (2), a motion limiter (4) arranged to limit a pivoting motion of said pendulum (3), and a generator (5) connected to said pendulum (3) and arranged to convert said pivoting motion into electrical energy. The vibrational motion has an operating frequency, and said pendulum (3) has a natural frequency different from said operating frequency. The invention also relates to a device (17) for monitoring the operation of a vibrating equipment (2).

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to an energy harvester for converting the vibrating motion of a vibrating device into electrical energy. The invention also relates to a device for monitoring the operation of the screen. Background technique [0002] Properly operating large screens for bulk products is essential for low cost operation. Damage to the screens can result in lost production and the need for extensive repairs. Continuous monitoring of screen operation is therefore important for scheduling preventive maintenance. [0003] Under proper conditions, the sieve moves evenly from left to right. Therefore, a good way to monitor the proper operation of the screen is to install sensors at specific locations on the screen, thereby continuously measuring and comparing the three-dimensional motion of the screen. [0004] Sieves are capable of operating at accelerations up to 7g, at frequencies up to 25Hz (1500RPM), and can have amplitudes in excess of...
