Abstract

The invention discloses a resource allocation method of a Cloud video platform. The method comprises the following steps: a service logic control system receives a request instruction sent by a client and obtains camera parameters of an IP camera corresponding to the request instruction, wherein the camera parameters contain streaming media format information; the service logic control system judges the streaming media protocol of video streaming of the IP camera according to the streaming media format information, wherein the streaming media protocol includes an HLS protocol and an RTSP. If the streaming media protocol is the HLS protocol, an access processing system accesses the video streaming and forwards the video streaming to an HLS processing system for processing; if the streaming media protocol is the RTSP, the access processing system accesses the video streaming and forwards the video streaming to the RTSP processing system for processing. In the method, resources are effectively allocated by the service logic control system according to the type of the streaming media protocol of the obtained video streaming, so as to improve the processing capacity of concurrent video streaming.
