Embodiment Construction

[0012] Below in conjunction with accompanying drawing and specific embodiment the present invention is described in further detail:

[0013] Such as Figure 1 As shown, when a user enters the library, he only needs to put his campus card close to the card reader, and the system will connect to the central database of the "One Card" through the library's self-service seat selection system, and connect to the self-service course selection system through the library's original card swiping system. The seating map of each floor is displayed on the large screen. The vacant seats are shown in green, and the occupied seats are shown in red. Students can select seats through the large screen self-service, and then swipe their cards at the corresponding seats. If the indicator light next to it lights up green, it means that the seat selection is successful, and then they can sit down and go to self-study with peace of mind. Otherwise, the red light is on and a new ballot is required....

Abstract

The present invention provides a library self-service seat selection system. The system consists of three parts: a card swiping module for entering a hall, a card swiping module for finding a seat and a card swiping module for leaving the hall. When entering a library, a user only needs to adjoin a campus card to a card reader; then a system is connect to a "One-Card" central database via the library self-service seat selection system; and by connecting an original card swiping system of the library to a self-service course selection system, a seat distribution map of each floor is displayed on a large screen. In the seat distribution maps, vacant seats are displayed in green, and taken seats are displayed in red. A student can perform self-service seat selection via the large screen, and then swipe a card at a corresponding seat; if a green indicator light is on, the seat is successfully selected; otherwise, if a red indicator light is on, the seat selection needs to be carried out again. When finishing self-study and preparing to leave, the student swipes the card at an exit of the library hall; and then the seat is re-identified to be in an idle state by the system. The library self-service seat selection system provided by the present invention enhances library management, and saves a large amount of labor resources.
