Abstract

The present invention provides a composition comprising vitamin A or a prodrug thereof, and aplysin; the molar ratio of vitamin A or the prodrug thereof to aplysin is 1:0.1-3; the vitamin A or the prodrug thereof is preferably beta-carotene. The present invention also provides the pharmaceutical composition and the application of the composition containing vitamin A or prodrug thereof, and aplysin in the preparation of medicament for treatment of liver cancer. The synergistic effect of the active ingredients in the composition can effectively inhibit the proliferation of liver cancer cells.
